It was our first time standing at the red carpet of the CFDA Awards, and we were in awe. Bright lights, snapping cameras, and candid celebrations invited us to watch from the sidelines of the red carpet as the international fashion community circulated and bustled with energy. Considered “The Oscars of fashion,” only the most stylish land on the exclusive guest list for this boundary-breaking event each year.

Here’s the rundown: The CFDA Awards combines leading designers with their muses, emerging talents, and Hollywood’s biggest style daredevils to give us some of the best fashion moments of the year. The Council of Fashion Designers of America includes industry influencers from Anna Wintour to Tom Ford, and honors the greatest contributors to American fashion.
